PDCAA is Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score. It is determined as follows: Actual milligrams of amino acids per gram protein/required milligrams of amino acids per Gram of protein. Only case the profile may change is if the manufacturers are “Adding” or “Enriching” the product with added amino acids. Which is not the case with Gold Standard Whey. One serving of Gold Standard 100% Whey has 11 grams of naturally occurring Essential Amino Acids (including 5.5 grams of BCAAs), and over 4 grams of naturally occurring Glutamine and Glutamic Acid. Depending on flavor the sweeteners used may change. Typically, you will see one of these or combination of any two in different flavours of gold standard 100% Whey- Acesulfame K, Sucralose, and Stevia. The Sweetener(s) used will be listed under the “ingredients”, and you will find them listed as “Sweetener (INS_ _ _).
