Savory Oat Pancakes (Oats Chilla)

  1. Add oats to a grinder jar and grind to a coarse flour.
  2. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add besan, whey protein, grated paneer, salt, turmeric, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, carrot, onion and coriander leaves.
  3. Add about 1 cup water and mix to form a smooth batter of pouring consistency. Adjust water as needed.
  4. Heat a pan on medium heat and grease lightly with oil.
  5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread slightly.
  6. Drizzle oil around edges and cook until underside is set and golden.
  7. Flip and cook the other side until crisp.
  8. Repeat with remaining batter and serve warm.
